It’s unlikely that passive aggressive notes have ever helped to diffuse tension in the office.
But that doesn’t stop frustrated staff members leaving hand-written warnings in a desperate bid to get their message across – as these hilarious snaps shared on social media prove.
They’re largely the efforts of employees seeking revenge on serial milk stealers, or those with a habit of making a mess in communal areas.
One disgruntled woman took the extreme step of labelling each and every item of food that was not hers in the fridge – to make it crystal clear to her colleagues which ones they should avoid.
Another person was fed up with those leaving notes and publicly shamed them for using Comic Sans.
