Patriots confirm Isaiah Bolden has been released from hospital after frightening collision caused NFL to suspend Packers game… as New England cancels practices with Titans
Patriots rookie cornerback Isaiah Bolden has been released from hospital following a worrying injury scare during Saturday night’s preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
A Patriots spokesperson said on Sunday morning that the 23-year-old had been held for ‘overnight observations’ at Aurora Bay Medical Center in Green Bay, Michigan.
As a result of the incident, the Patriots have canceled their upcoming joint practices with the Tennessee Titans that were set to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The team will head back to Foxborough, Massachusetts, before traveling to Nashville on Thursday for their final preseason game a day later.
Bolden was injured midway through the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game. After he was carted off the field on a stretcher, the remainder of play was suspended.
