Paul Hogan admits he knew Harvey Weinstein had issues

He wasn’t afraid to throw his weight around in the iconic Crocodile Dundee movie.

And comedian Paul Hogan admitted to The Herald-Sun on Tuesday he certainly wouldn’t hold back if he ever found out one of his ‘beautiful’ granddaughters had been harassed.

The claim comes as the 78-year-old reflected on the #metoo campaign and the countless women coming forward to out their sexual perpetrators.

‘I was staggered at the creepiness of people in Hollywood,’ Paul Hogan told The Herald-Sun on Tuesday he’d ‘kick the a**e’ of anyone who sexually harassed his granddaughters

‘There’s so many people being exposed that you never expected,’ Paul told  the publication.

But there was one man in particular he wasn’t surprised to hear was in very hot water.

‘I was staggered at the creepiness of people in Hollywood,’ Paul said.

He added: ‘I knew Harvey Weinstein was a grub… no one was shocked about Harvey.’

Paul, who is the grandfather of Channel Seven reporter Mylee Hogan, said he wouldn’t think twice about beating up any man that took advantage of his younger family members.

‘I have four attractive granddaughters, one of them is on Channel Seven, and if I find out someone out there is hassling her, I’d go out and kick their a**e… they shouldn’t have to put up with that,’ he said.

And that’s not the only fight Paul Hogan has involved himself in recently.

The legendary actor launched legal action against food chain Grill’d, claiming it used one of Crocodile Dundee’s catchphrases on its cutlery sleeves.

The 78-year-old accused the fast food group of ‘flagrant’ breach of copyright for including his famous line ‘That’s not a knife, this is a knife’ on their products.

Paul claims the restaurant company ‘refused’ to stop making the cutlery sleeves and has asked for increased damages due to their ‘flagrant disregard’ for his copyright, The Australian reported.

Grill’d has yet to file a defence to these claims.
