Paul Mescal has been enjoying ‘secret dates’ with US pop star Gracie Abrams as they manage to spend time together ‘almost unnoticed’ during London shopping spree

Paul Mescal has been enjoying quiet dates with Gracie Abrams.

The Gladiator II star, 28,  was first spotted with singer Gracie, 24, in June but now insiders have claimed that the pair have been managing to spend time together ‘unnoticed’ in London.

A source told The Sun: ‘Paul and Gracie looked like any other young couple hitting the shops, and they went almost unnoticed. 

‘They seemed very relaxed in each other’s company and were busy checking out the posh shops on Bond Street. 

‘Paul is a very low-key person, as is Gracie, so there was no fanfare and they kept their distance from each other when they were out on the street’.

The insider also claimed that following their shopping spree, both Paul and the Close To You singer ‘left separately’ and they each made their own way home.

Grace, who is the daughter of Hollywood director JJ Abrams, has been in the UK for a series of gigs and is said to have been staying at the Chiltern Firehouse in central London. 

Paul wasn’t spotted at any of her recent shows which took place in Bristol and Southampton but the source thought it was ‘telling’ that she chose to keep coming back to the capital city.

The couple dined recently at Brat, a Michelin-starred restaurant in London’s Shoreditch.

It has been claimed that Paul’s latest role in Gladiator II will send him ‘into the stratosphere’ of Hollywood stardom.

Meanwhile, Gracie recently achieved a major boost when she served alongside Sabrina Carpenter as an opening act for Taylor Swift.

Paul has previously dated singer Phoebe Bridgers and was spotted sharing a coffee with Angelina Jolie in London last year.

Meanwhile, Gracie recently received a major career boost when she served as an opening act for Taylor Swift (pictured at the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in June 2024)

He longs to correct all the gossip that comes with fame, but admits: ‘I don’t think that’s a very wise thing to do. 

‘But the temptation still exists, to be like, ‘Shut the f*** up. This is my life. This is what’s going on. Or this is what’s not going on.’ 

The Normal People star and the Gracie recently looked very cosy in pictures obtained by TMZ as they enjoyed a meal at BRAT Restaurant.

Paul and Gracie were locked in conversation in the busy restaurant as they shared a number of small plates.
