Pedro Pascal cuts a fit figure as he hangs out with a friend at a gym in West Hollywood

Pedro Pascal cut a fit figure in Los Angeles Friday as he hung out with a friend outside the Rise Movement gym in West Hollywood.

The Mandalorian star, 47, whose popular The Last of Us just completed its first season on HBO, looked a little sweaty in a pair of black shorts and a yellow LA Lakers T-shirt.

He wore sneakers and rainbow socks.

The actor was seen discussing the results of a minor fender bender with his pal, who looked comfortable in a gray T-shirt and black joggers.

The Chilean born star had Helen Mirren and Ariana DeBose and his host in stitches in a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, as the actor explained he didn’t remember getting the call that he had been cast in The Last of Us.

Pedro was shooting in London at the time, when talks began about his getting the part as Joel Miller in the video game inspired series took place.

‘It was late, and I took an Ambien,’ he said.

‘At that point I was kind of hyped up… I was excited about the prospect.’

‘They called me to tell me I had gotten the job, but I had already taken the tablet. I really didn’t think… I thought I would at least have to wait until the next day.’

And then a couple of minutes on the call went by apparently, and I was like ‘What’s up? Did I get the job?”‘ he said while laughing with his fellow guests.

‘I forgot completely, woke up in the morning, and was all like ‘Oh my god, did I get the job, I’m going to have to wait all day.’

The HBO show has been a huge success for the network and streaming service, averaging more than 21 million viewers per episode.

In an Instagram post just before the season finale, the journeyman actor wrote his thanks.

‘To #TheLastofUs cast, creators, and crew. I would stay alive for any of you. Apocalypse level gratitude.’

In an interview with Access Hollywood, promoting season three of The Mandalorian, which is currently streaming on Disney+, Pedro addressed his current success after struggling for years to make a name for himself.

‘There’s a lot of nostalgia for the years of my life that were on stage, the moments of getting a guest starring or episodic role on some of these shows, that felt life changing, or at least life-saving as far as rent was concerned in certain instances,’ he explained.

The actor has five upcoming projects currently listed on IMDB.

‘Right now, is an embarrassment of riches,’ he claimed, ‘and I hope to navigate it and share it to the best of my ability. That would be the most important thing.’
