Penélope Cruz channeled a retro chic look on Saturday in a 90s style co-ord as she was honoured with the Spanish National Cinematography Award during San Sebastian Film Festival.

The actress, 48, stunned in a baby pink tweed blazer and matching mini skirt for the day, which was held in the city’s Kursaal auditorium.

She proudly beamed with the award in both hands, which was granted to her by Spain’s ministry of culture for her work in film.

Penélope’s co-ord featured a grey threaded trim along the hem and collar, alongside a button down detailig.

She teamed the vintage Chanel-esque number with open-toed black shoes – which slightly elevated her height with a black heel.

Amping up the glitz, the actress added statement Chanel pearl drop earrings to match her outfit.

Penélope had her chocolate locks pulled away from her face in a half ponytail, as the rest fell into a soft curl. 

While she added a glamorous palette of makeup with a winged smokey eye to highlight her glowing complexion.

Spain’s ministry of culture awarded the actress, who has more Oscar nominations than any other Spanish actor or actress, the Spanish National Cinematography Award  that she has received.

Recognising her many achievements, the organisation also gave a nod to her thirteen Goya nominations – of which she has won three.

Penélope has been spending time at the 70th annual Film Festival to promote her new film thriller-drama On The Fringe.

On The Fringe is a film on family, love and solidarity – linking the stories of three seperate characters who all go on 24 hour long life-shaping journeys in a race against the clock.

The actress stars in the film, also called En los Márgenes, alongside Spanish actor Luis Tosar.
