John, 67, told 3AW on Tuesday he was stopped by security at the entrance of the Park Hotel in Werribee as he and his partner tried to enter for dinner.

‘He said “Have you got a shirt and collar as you can’t come in because you have a neck tattoo”,’ John told the radio station.

‘All my partner said was ‘What century are we living in?’, and they said ‘Look, that’s our policy’, and so we walked off.’
