But there are many ways the simple task of doing your laundry can end in disaster, from tech malfunctions to a forgotten tissue in a trouser pocket.
And Bored Panda has shared a collection of photos of people’s often-hilarious laundry woes. British presenter Kate Lawler also showed off her beautiful once-oversized jumper that now only fits her toddler.
