Pep Guardiola have an incredible inspirational team talk at half-time of the final game of the 2021-22 season, with Manchester City 1-0 down to Aston Villa and the Premier League title on its way to Liverpool.
The Spanish coach produced a revitalising monologue at the midway point to revitalise his side, who would go 2-0 down before winning the game 3-2 and ensure that the trophy stayed at the Etihad for at least a year longer.
Cameras were given back-stage access to the tense and dramatic scenes, as they were filming the club’s “Together: Champions Again” documentary, with the reigning champions on the cusp of losing the league on the final day.

The Spanish manager was typically animated as he asked his side to put aside the pressure
But the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach has faith in his star-studded side
In his impassioned talk, the coach could be heard saying: ‘We’re going to go for it. OK, guys?
‘It’s impossible to think about the consequences if we don’t win. It’s normal. It’s normal. But you have to be positive until the end.
‘We need one goal. Then we will have the momentum and we will do it. I know you feel the pressure in the danger. It’s normal.
Guardiola’s side went in 1-0 down to Aston Villa at half-time with Liverpool level with Wolves
‘The transition we did before the goal was crazy, we are closer to losing than the win.
‘We would not be here if we hadn’t been the best. You would not be.
‘I know we are going to win it, but you have to handle in here [the mind] in a positive way. Find the quality, guys! You have enough. Okay? Allez.’

The 51-year-old is famous for his erratic touchline antics, constantly sending signals to his side in an incessant display of energy in pursuit of perfection, and his speech will only further his legend as one of football’s great characters.
Despite the fact that the champions conceded a second goal just over 20 minutes after Guardiola’s speech, Ilkay Gundogan inspired City to a three-goal turnaround, netting either side of a Rodri strike to win the league in dramatic fashion.
As a result, City retained the title – Guardiola’s fourth in six seasons – at the cost of Liverpool, who began and ended the day just one point behind the eventual winners.
