Perrie Edwards is engaged to boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The former Little Mix singer, 28, took to her Instagram page to share the happy news along with some pictures of footballer Alex as he got down on one knee to propose.
Captioning her post, she wrote: ‘Last night the love of my life got down on one knee and I said… YES!’

In the images, Perrie could be seen with her hand over her mouth as she stood in front of the sea at sunset.
Alex was down on one knee with an engagement ring in a box in his hand.
He could be seen placing the diamond ring on her finger before the couple shared a kiss.

Pop star Perrie and her Liverpool FC fiancé, 28, have been dating since 2016 but they didn’t go public with their romance until February 2017.

In August last year, the couple welcomed son Axel together after Perrie announced she was expecting in May.
Former X Factor contestant Perrie previously dating ex One Direction member Zayn Malik.
They got engaged in August 2013 but later split in August 2015.
Perrie spoke about marrying Alex as far back as 2020 when she appeared on radio show Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp.
She said: ‘I appreciate him, we don’t want to rush into it do you know what I mean? But it would be a definitely yes from me I reckon!’
However, she told the Metro the same year: ‘We always talk about the future. He’s my forever, but I don’t think we are ready to get engaged any time soon.’
It comes after Perrie shared sweet sun-soaked bikini snaps of herself with ten-month-old Axel on Saturday.
The star snuggled with her adorable son as she sported a chic poolside ensemble in a black swimsuit and patterned blue and white sarong tied at the waist.
The stunner also teamed her look with a wide brim sunhat, which she kept at the side.

It comes as Little Mix last month performed on the final night of their Confetti tour before going on an indefinite hiatus.

Titled The Last Show (for now…), the gig was streamed globally online so their fans across the planet could tune in.
Perrie reportedly defied doctor’s orders not to sing at one of the last Little Mix gigs.
She defiantly took to the stage at after medics advised her not to perform due to a throat infection, with the star telling the crowd: ‘There is no way I was missing out!’
Earlier that week, Perrie revealed she was on vocal rest, with the stunner holding up a sign on social media which read: ‘Vocal rest… please don’t talk to me! Thank you kindly.’

Little Mix have promised fans their hiatus does not spell the end of the girl group, insisting that while they are set to launch their own solo careers, they are already discussing the next reunion.
The girls – who became a trio in December 2020, when Jesy Nelson, 30, quit the band – might be doing their own things over the next few years, but they have vowed to carefully align their schedules so there is no chance of them facing each other in the charts.
Yet before they launch their new careers, the top priority is to take some much-needed time off.
Perrie told MailOnline: ‘I have a wonderful month-long holiday booked. That might turn into two or three months because we all need a little moment to re-energise.’
