The brick falls onto the pavement after the throw, with the thief picking it up and throwing it again.

It appears to bounce off the window and lands in a nearby nature strip.

The thief manages to break the window with the third throw and proceeds to steal a wallet inside the car before quickly taking off in his vehicle.

It has prompted a warning by police to car owners about leaving wallets and other valuables inside their vehicles.

‘A timely reminder not to leave valuables in your vehicle even when parked out the front of your home,’ the social media post read.

‘This vehicle was chosen randomly by the thief who got away with the victim’s wallet from inside the centre console of this vehicle.’

‘Sadly, thieves patrol the streets in cars and on foot.’
