Disgraced celebrity chef Pete Evans has put his apron back on, four years after being booted from the Channel Seven reality TV series My Kitchen Rules.
The former TV presenter, 51, looked to be in good spirits in a new cooking video posted on Instagram, in which he showed his fans how to prepare a tasty salad.
Pete wore a brown kitchen apron over a black T-shirt as he enthusiastically showed his followers how to prepare a watermelon and shiso dish.
His rugged look was worlds away from the clean cut look he sported on MKR, with Pete sporting a long, flowing mullet and a five o’clock shadow.
‘Spring and summer for me is all about celebrating salads! Today, we’re going to do a salad which you can have on the table in minutes,’ Pete told fans.
He then took a bite of his completed dish and said, ‘Wow, it’s delicious! Until next time.’
Pete, who was banned from social media for his controversial views during the Covid crisis, launched ‘fasting retreats’ at his centre in Byrrill Creek, 62km from Byron Bay, soon after he and his wife Nicola Robinson bought it four years ago.

Evans has faced a string of controversies over the past few years.
The once popular TV star has attracted scrutiny for speaking out against vaccine mandates and was fined $25,000 for spruiking a light machine which he claimed helped treat Covid symptoms.
In May 2020, it was announced that Pete had parted ways with Channel Seven after 10 years as a judge on My Kitchen Rules alongside Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge.

It effectively marked his break from the mainstream after years of flirting with off-the-wall ideas during his tenure at the network.
Free from the contractual constraints of mainstream network television, he began spouting beliefs about vaccines and the Covid-19 pandemic on social media.
In July, 2020, he sparked outrage when he falsely claimed that Covid-19 was a ‘f**king hoax’ and that the pandemic ‘doesn’t compare to what is happening in the world on a large scale’.
