Pete Wicks surprised fans as he debuted a brand new hairstyle and showed off his dramatic transformation.

The former TOWIE star, 35, took to Instagram on Wednesday to unveil his new look as he ditched his signature luscious long locks and went for the chop instead.

Posting a black and white selfie, Pete debuted his freshly cut locks as he styled his shorter hair in soft curls around his face.

The star captioned the post ‘Little chop’ as he thanked his hairdresser Harriet Fuller for the transformation. 

The snap has caused quite the stir with a few famous faces coming forward to give their two-piece on the new look.

Celebs Go Dating host Anna Williamson wrote ‘Oooh that looks fab P-Dubs,’ while Diversity member and radio DJ Jordan Banjo wrote: ‘You owe me a score’. 

Bake Off winner Candice Brown also commented: ‘Oooohhh I like it!’ and Celebrity SAS star Shannon Courtenay chimed ‘We approve of the Bob’. 

Elsewhere, Pete recently uploaded a hilarious video with his podcast co-host Sam Thompson as they urged fans to vote for them for the Listeners Choice Award at the British Podcast Awards. 

Creating a spoof of a charity advert, Sam narrated the video as he said: ‘This is an urgent appeal from the Staying Relevant podcast.’ 

As Pete sat on the side of the road looking disheveled with a sign reading ‘I used to be on TOWIE’, Sam said: ‘Every five minutes  another Z-List wannabee loses their fight to stay relevant.

‘With your help we can give ageing washed up has been’s like this man a chance to survive the 15 minutes of fame.’ 

The camera then panned over Pete as he sat on the side of the road and desperately asked passersby if they remember him in an amusing moment.

The black and white then switched to colour as they urged people to vote for their podcast to save their careers, joking: ‘It takes just one vote to change a life.’

They captioned the post: ‘Do something worthwhile today. Vote for @stayingrelevantpodcast for the listeners choice award…. We even made our own video……we’re desperate.’

The pair’s weekly podcast sees them speak about public appearances gone wrong, brand campaigns they’d rather forget, and their reality TV backgrounds that still haunt them.

The episodes also feature special guests appearances, including most recently from two-time Love Island star Kady McDermott.
