Peter Andre cancels Australian tour due to poor sales

Australian Peter Andre fans won’t be getting ‘down on it’ this year after all.

The UK-based singer’s ‘Greatest Hits’ Tour, initially scheduled for November, has been cancelled, according to The Daily Telegraph.

‘Despite heavy promotion and publicity, the ticket sales weren’t as popular as his famous six-pack,’ the publication claimed.

Peter was due in November for the first time in over 20-years, with ticket facilities reportedly citing ‘scheduling difficulties’ this week.

But the publication refutes that claim and also noted the fact the Funky Junky singer announced no plans to reschedule, following the cancellation.

Upon announcing his tour earlier this year, the 44-year-old revealed to News Corp that his six-pack may not be making a return.

‘The last thing I’d want to do now is take my shirt off,’ the UK-based personality admitted.

‘The nineties — they were the days. My videos were actually banned in a lot of countries because of the toplessness,’ Peter told the publication.
