Peter Andre has opened up about his terrifying stalking experience after he was bombarded by scary death threats in the nineties.

The Mysterious Girl star, 52, recalled in his OK! Magazine column this week a terrifying incident from his heyday where he became the victim of stalking.

Peter claimed his stalker became so intense that it cause a huge police response in Australia when visited the country on tour with rapper Bobby Brown.

Peter revealed: ‘It’s strange – I think some people read these terrible [celebrity stalking] stories and somehow don’t believe they’re real. 

‘They’re very real. It happens to a lot of people in the public eye.’

‘Now, you may not believe me but it happened to me. In 1992 or 93, I was touring with Bobby Brown in Australia’, he added.

‘At one of the concerts in Sydney, there were 26 police at the venue who were present on this particular night because of a series of death threats that had been made to me from someone who’d been stalking me for a long time.’ 

Peter did not reveal any more details about the incident but he did confess that he would lift the lid on the whole story at another point.  

‘One day, I’ll tell the whole story’, he finished. 

Peter recently opened up about his mental health struggles he has experienced after having a ‘tough’ year in 2024. 

The pop star, who is married to wife Emily, 35, explained that his struggles have largely resulted from his mother’s health woes. 

While the singer touched on the amazing parts of the year, such as welcoming his youngest daughter, Arabella. he confessed that he has ‘found parts of this year quite hard.’

Peter’s mother, Thea, suffers from Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s and lives in Australia and the stress of her health has made him experiences feelings that he ‘hasn’t had for a long time’.

He told the Mirror: ‘Although I’ve had a lot of highs in 2024, I did experience feelings of anxiety that I haven’t had for a long time, especially to do with my mum’s health. 

‘I think that’s why I spoke a lot more about mental health, because I wanted to be open and admit that things aren’t always great. 

‘I like to think of myself as a positive person but, truthfully, I have found parts of this year quite hard.’ 

Peter went on to explained that while Arabella has brought him ‘so much joy’ he ‘can’t help but worry about his mother’. 

He explained that he was planning a trip down under to visit both his parents.
