Peter Andre sees ‘ticket prices  slashed’ from £45 to £1 after ‘shows fail to sell-out and seats are left empty’

Peter Andre has been served a low blow after ‘ticket prices for his upcoming tour were slashed with some selling for just £1’.

The Australian singer, 51, who is set to take to the stage at over 41 venues across the UK in January, will cover songs by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

According to The Sun, despite some venues selling well, others like Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall look to be advertising tickets for a fraction of the price in a hope to get bums on seats.

If lower priced tickets were not frustrating enough, it seems some venues in locations including St Albans and Grimsby – and London’s Dominion Theatre in February – have alot of ticket availablity.

The shocking news comes after Pete revealed he has new job lined up.

Writing in his column for new! magazine, he said: ‘I have got a part in a new Channel 5 drama as one of the lead characters, which I’m excited about.

‘I can’t reveal the name of it just yet or give much away, but I start filming next month and can’t wait to get stuck in. Watch this space!’

He’s also working on new music ahead of the 30th anniversary of his hit Mysterious Girl.

Pete added: ‘I’ve been talking about new music for so long but I’m happy to announce that I’m finally working on an album.

‘Next year will be 30 years since the release of Mysterious Girl, so the album is to mark that milestone and will be followed by a tour.’

And it seems the former I’m A Celebrity contestant has no intention of slowing down as just days ago the 90s crooner was spotted writhing around on stage.

Performing at a boisterous party in Birmingham organised by TikTok and UK Music to celebrate the British industry, the singer danced and serenaded revellers at the packed Mooncat bar.

He even climbed onto tables among the cheering – and bemused – onlookers.
