Petra Ecclestone unloads on ‘evil person’ ex-husband James Stunt on Instagram

Petra Ecclestone has lambasted her ‘evil’ ex-husband, playboy James Stunt, by saying he was never a billionaire, his Lamborghini was a fake, and that he pretended to be Prince Philip’s illegitimate son.

In the latest in a long line of public spats with Stunt on Instagram, the F1 tycoon’s daughter, 30, wrote: ‘James claims I sold his Lamborghini. The reality is that it was a kit car with a Ford key.’

In a separate post, she added: ‘Let’s shatter the James Stunt myth. The man is not a billionaire and never was. Naively I funded his life for our entire marriage and paid for his cars, his watches, his art (the few real ones) even his failed company, Stunt and Co.’

And in the same message, she wrote that Stunt ‘even told friends that he was Prince Phillip’s illegitimate son’.

It comes as Stunt said he ‘doesn’t care what she thinks’ – after the heiress slammed on Instagram, labelling him an ‘evil person’ and a ‘monster’.

Petra, who is the daughter of F1 billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, endured a high-profile acrimonious divorce in October 2017, after six years of marriage.

She slammed Stunt for using Instagram as a platform to tell ‘lies’ about her family and this morning took to the social media platform to call out her ex-husband, with whom she has three children.

But, hitting back at his ex-wife, Stunt said on Instagram, that he ‘doesn’t care’ what Petra thinks, nor does he care what her fiancé Sam Palmer thinks, with whom she is having a fourth child.

‘I don’t care what my ex-wife thinks, he said. ‘I don’t care what Sam Palmer thinks. Lies will never hurt me. It doesn’t bother me.’

‘I care to an extent what my ex-wife thinks, as you have to understand she was the love of my life and she’s the mother of my children. But I have one weakness and that’s my children.’

His comments came just days after Petra’s fiancé Palmer, 37, was seen leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles shouting insults about the bankrupt gold bullion dealer.

He said to waiting photographers ‘James Stunt, the c***’ in reference to Petra’s ex-husband, who was recently caught up in a scandal over forged paintings.

But addressing his bitter spat with Palmer, Stunt said: ‘And it does send a bad message to me Sam that you hate me so much and you must see my features in my children.

‘That’s quite disturbing to me to be honest with you as they’re like my twins. I don’t want to talk about my kids and I don’t want to be rude about Sam Palmer. I don’t want to be rude about Petra.’

But, hitting back at his ex-wife, Stunt (pictured) said in a twenty minute rant on Instagram, that he 'doesn't care' what Petra thinks, nor does he care what her fiancé Sam Palmer thinks, with whom she is having a fourth child

He added that the allegations made on her Instagram post this morning were ‘complete falsehoods’.

In her Instagram post this morning, Petra said she had decided to speak out about her ‘horrible and narcissistic’ ex-husband, saying he ‘will not leave us alone’.

She said that Stunt had a ‘sick obsession with money’ during their time together, claiming he had someone create a Wikipedia page saying he was a billionaire.

Towards the end of their marriage, she claims, he started wearing ‘a full face of make-up’ and told friends ‘he was Prince Phillips illegitimate son’.

Referencing the children they have together, she said: ‘James has never even once sent the children a birthday or Christmas card and makes no effort to contact them.

‘As people can see from his rants and erratic behaviour on Instagram, it is not safe for me to put my children in harms way.’

And she claimed that Stunt had even ‘had people try to threaten’ her fiancé, saying ‘he is not man enough to do it himself’.

She added: ‘The sad reality of it is James is not a gangster, he’s a public school boy that likes to pretend he is from the street and related to gangsters. He’s not. He’s just a prat.’

As she looks back on their relationship, she says: ‘I blame myself for helping create the monster he has now become.’

Petra even references her ex-husband’s recent forged art scandal, which saw it recently claimed that he has a number of alleged fake artworks in his collection.

These included artworks purportedly lent to the headquarters of Prince Charles’ charity, such as a ‘Monet’ and a ‘Picasso’ actually painted by a notorious American art forger.

American artist Tony Tetro, who was once sentenced to six months in prison for art forgery, told The Mail on Sunday earlier this month that he had painted pictures and sold them to Mr Stunt.

In her Instagram post, Petra said: ‘I actually met Tony Tetro, the art forger, at our house In LA during the time that James was commissioning the paintings to be made.

‘It is therefore somewhat baffling to me to now hear James say that the paintings are real.’

Later in her post, Petra says she has ‘no hatred for Stunt, instead claiming she has ‘only sadness that a man I was once married to can be so full of venom.’

Concluding her message, she says: ‘I ask anyone reading this to report James Stunt to Instagram as he is causing me distress on a daily basis.

‘I am a pregnant mum of three and I just want to be able to get on with my life.’

Earlier this week, Petra’s fiancé Sam Palmer, 37, was seen joking about Stunt’s ‘fake art’ as the couple leave a dinner date and he later took to Instagram to call him a ‘junkie bully’.

In footage captured of their departure from the Los Angeles restaurant, Palmer, a former electrician turned salesman, appears eager to rile up the bankrupt gold bullion dealer.

After saying his goodbyes to fellow dinner guests, he wanders past the waiting paparazzi before loudly exclaiming the insult.

Concerned they haven’t heard him however, he asks: ‘Did you get that?’

Before repeating ‘James Stunt, the c***’ as he opens his car door – much to fiancée Petra’s annoyance, who exclaims: ‘Sam, shut up.’

His comments come just weeks after it was revealed Stunt had a number of fake artworks in his collection.

These included artworks lent to the headquarters of Prince Charles’ charity, such as a ‘Monet’ and a ‘Picasso’ actually painted by a notorious American art forger.

The post-restaurant rant is just the latest in a long line of bitter public spats involving Petra and her ex-husband.

Palmer also today posted a statement on his Instagram in which he lays into Stunt for comments the bankrupt gold bullion dealer made about the child he is expecting with Petra, the daughter of F1 billionaire Bernie Ecclestone.

He called him a ‘coward’ for purportedly, not to his face, claiming he feels bad his children will have to share a sibling with Palmer’s upcoming child. Petra and Stunt had three children together before their divorce.

‘James Stunt today claimed he feels bad that my kids have to share a sibling with our new baby,’ he writes on his Instagram story.

‘I didn’t want to come out and even acknowledge you two a***wipes. So I suppose I have to set the record straight on you two junkie bullies again.

‘I’ve called you 35 times in the last week but you’re too scared to answer. Again highlighting what a coward you are.’

Petra and Stunt endured a high-profile acrimonious divorce in October 2017, after six years of marriage.

It was revealed earlier this month that she is said to be ‘overjoyed’ at the news that she is expecting her first child with fiance Palmer.

The couple, who are expected to marry next year, have told family and friends the big news following a 12-week scan.

Petra is understood to be keen to bring up the child in London and Los Angeles, where she owns lavish homes, according to reports.

Stunt has recently found himself in the firing line after it took an art scholar less than 15 minutes to be certain that the ‘Salvador Dali masterpiece’ in the bankrupt businessman’s office was a fake.

Earlier this month, the Mail on Sunday revealed this particular Dali – Corpus Hypercubus 1953 – had been among three fakes lent by Stunt to Dumfries House in Scotland, the headquarters of Prince Charles’s charity, The Prince’s Foundation.

But the greatest shock came several weeks ago, when Mr Descharnes read an email, written in his name and sent using his home address in the French Loire, which purported to say that both the painting and the sketch were ‘original Dali’ after all.

The bogus email declared the two pieces to be ‘beautiful work and a great discovery’. And it had been sent from Stunt Acquisitions, the office of James Stunt, the ex-husband of the F1 heiress Petra Ecclestone.

Mr Stunt, who was declared bankrupt in June, once boasted of owning 200 supercars and a £5million credit line in every major casino in London, Monaco, Las Vegas and Macau.

He says he is the godson of Terry Adams, head of Britain’s most notorious crime family. But he has clearly treasured his relationship with the prince, framing letters he has received from the palace and displaying them proudly in his office.

In an interview with Tatler last year, Mr Stunt boasted of his work with The Prince’s Foundation and described Mr Fawcett as a ‘lovely man’. He said he had loaned ‘works from the likes of Velazquez, Monet, van Dyck, Dali, Picasso and Constable’ over a two-year period.
