PGA star’s wife addresses LIV rumors with TikTok video after withdrawing from Hero World Challenge

Alayna Finau acknowledged the LIV rumors circulating about her husband, PGA Tour star Tony Finau.

The rumors began buzzing after the six-time PGA Tour winner’s withdrawal from the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas this week. Finau’s good friend, Jon Rahm, joined the Saudi-backed league last year for a deal reportedly worth $350million.

On Monday, Alyana let it be known that they were aware of the headlines with a TikTok video shot while they enjoyed some downtime by a pool.

Alayna mouths, ‘My life is complicated enough, the last thing I need is more drama,’ before a report about Finau and LIV appears at the end, cueing the voiceover, ‘Hello, drama.’ A screenshot of a news article about said rumors then flashed on the screen.

‘Me n my day in the life vids in our own lil corner over hurr,’ she captioned while adding the hashtags, ‘Finau Fresh,’ ‘golf,’ ‘golf TikTok,’ ‘PGA Tour’ and ‘LIV Golf.’

Tony Finau’s wife Alayna addressed the LIV Golf rumors with a TikTok video on Monday

As rumors circulate, fans took to the comment section to show their support for Finau.

‘I’m a Tony fan no matter where he plays, dude is just so chill all the time,’ one TikTok user commented.

‘Absolutely nothing wrong with a man supporting his family the best way he can. I’ll watch Tony no matter where he plays,’ another added.

The speculation began on Sunday when The Mirror reported that Rahm’s Legion XIII squad ‘will introduce a new member in 2025 following the relegation of Kieran Vincent.’

They noted there are ‘several stars’ on his wish list, with Finau’s name being thrown in the hat.

‘Rumors are swirling that Rahm’s top pick to fill the vacancy is his close friend Tony Finau, who reportedly previously turned down an offer to join [LIV],’ The Mirror wrote.

Besides Rahm, LIV hosts stars such as Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and Phil Mickelson.

Finau is ranked 26th in the world after tying third in the US Open and competing in September’s Presidents Cup, which the United States won.
