Phoebe Burgess reveals she signed up for the celebrity dating app Raya after her split with Sam… as she reveals her biggest fear while being a single mum

Glamorous influencer Phoebe Burgess made the bombshell admission on Saturday that she once signed up for the exclusive celebrity dating app Raya.

The ex-NRL WAG, 36, told this week’s Stellar Magazine  she began making an account on the site six months ago, but stopped after thinking about her two young children.

‘I don’t want my children to ever feel they are not my top priority. I’m sensitive to that. I have this fear that they would ever get that message from me’ she began.

Phoebe shares her daughter Poppy, seven, and son Billy, five, with her ex-Rabbitohs star husband Sam Burgess.

‘They’re my most important thing, my focus. That’s the thing I will not risk for anything in the world, because they don’t deserve it.’

The brunette bombshell added she had come to love the freedom of being a single parent and was not prepared to sacrifice it for being in a relationship.

‘I became a single parent on the brink of a pandemic, which offered a sanctuary and a way to feel safe.

‘I don’t want to risk my own personal freedom again because even though single-parenting at times can be a sh*t-show, I have the autonomy and freedom to make choices,’ she added.

The stunner was previously married to NRL star Sam Burgess for four years.

However, the celebrity couple parted ways and finalised their divorce in April 2020.

The Burgesses wed in 2015, separated in late 2018 and resumed their relationship in early 2019.

They split permanently in October that year.

Sam, formerly of the South Sydney Rabbitohs, admitted on SAS Australia to cheating on his wife with a woman in Melbourne in 2017.

He is now engaged to Leeds hairdresser Lucy Graham and the couple share a baby daughter called Robbie.
