Zac Efron’s stint in Sydney proved to be short-lived, with the Hollywood star spotted back up near the Queensland border on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old actor enjoyed a lunch date at Mavis’s Kitchen in Mount Warning with his new girlfriend, Byron Bay waitress Vanessa Valladares.
The couple recently returned to the area after a few days in Sydney, where they were spotted out in the eastern suburbs.

Rumours emerged late last week that Zac had traded Byron Bay for Sydney after he was spotted around Bondi Beach on Friday.
He was later seen dining at an upscale seafood restaurant in nearby Rose Bay on Sunday, sparking rumours he has taken up residency in the area.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald on Sunday, paparazzi who have been ‘following his every move’ now believe the actor is living in Dover Heights.

The Greatest Showman star was reportedly renting a clifftop mansion in the suburb, which is renowned for its spectacular views of Sydney Harbour.
But just days later, the couple is back on the far north New South Wales coast, where Zac has been residing since the coronavirus pandemic outbreak in March.
Both Zac and Vanessa were dressed casually for their lunch outing, with the actor’s girlfriend clutching a giant vape as they walked.

Zac kept a low profile in a pair of grey shorts, which he paired with a navy blue button-down shirt.
The bearded actor wore dark sunglasses and a blue baseball cap, and rounded out his ensemble with a pair of rubber thongs.
Meanwhile, Vanessa looked chic in a pair of high-waisted white shorts, which she teamed with a cropped white singlet top.
She wore a pale yellow shirt over the top of her ensemble, which she knotted at the waist.
The legging local accessorised with a floppy brown hat, layered necklaces and brown boots, which she wore with black socks.
She carried a small brown handbag on one shoulder, and puffed on her vape as they walked alongside each other.
