A series of hilarious photographs have revealed the mind-boggling stupidity of construction workers around the world who cannot be bothered with what many might considered normal health and safety practices.

From tree surgeons, to mechanics, welders and builders – there’s always someone who is going to turn a blind eye to the rules.

One man ignored basic safety rules by swapping a step ladder for a friend’s shoulders, while another swapped a welding helmet for a plastic tub.
