Pia Miller has revealed that she’s kept her youngest son, Lennox, 13, out of school during the coronavirus pandemic, because he has asthma. 

Speaking to Now To Love this week, the former Home and Away star said she’s had to ‘rely on her common sense,’ because of so much ‘unknown.’

‘I chose to keep my little guy at home,’ Pia said.

‘There is so much unknown and with so much unknown, the only thing we can rely on is our common sense.’

The mother-of-two added that she’s enjoying isolating with her family and spending quality time together. 

She said with a laugh: ‘It’s been fun and it’s also been… we’re just on top of each other all the time.’

Her decision comes after Prime Minister Scott Morrison insisted schools should remain open for now. 

‘The disruption that would occur from closures [of schools] around this country would be severe,’ he said. 

‘What do I mean by severe? Tens of thousands of jobs could be lost, if not more,’ he added.

Pia shares Lennox with ex-husband and former AFL player, Brad Miller. 

She is also mother to son Isaiah 16, who she gave birth to when she was nineteen.  

As of Friday afternoon, there are 857 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Australia and seven deaths.
