The body of a 51-year-old woman has been discovered inside a home as police take a 52-year-old man into custody.
The woman’s body was discovered by paramedics responding to a call for assistance on Kallaroo Rd in Pialligo, Canberra, about 9.45am on Tuesday.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 52-year-old man was taken into custody later Tuesday afternoon and assisted police with enquiries.
‘At this time no charges have been laid and investigations into the matter are continuing,’ ACT Police said in a statement.
