  • A 17-year-old boy has been charged over the crash that happened at 10pm Friday
  • Charged on Saturday with 2 counts of dangerous driving occasioning death
  • He will face Armadale Children’s Court on October 28

The two teenagers who tragically died in a horror crash have been remembered by friends and family as ‘angels’ who had bright futures ahead of them. 

Madison Woods, 19, and Elija Johns, 17, died after the black Holden Clubsport sedan they were travelling in crashed into a tree on Coorain Street at Maddington about 10pm on Friday.

Two other passengers, aged 17 and 18, remain in a stable condition at the Royal Perth Hospital.

Countless tributes and condolences for the two deceased were shared on social media.

One of Ms Wood’s friends described her as ‘bubbly’, ‘caring’ and ‘the life of the party’.

A friend of Mr Johns also shared his disbelief and said ‘you were such a kind and loving person, all the memories we had, I’ll never forget’.

A 17-year-old driver was charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death on Saturday.

He will face Armadale Children’s Court on October 28.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or the black Holden Clubsport sedan prior to the crash to come forward.
