Max McMullen (pictured) has been named as the boy who fell to his death in Cordoba on Saturday
This is the first pictured to emerge of the British rugby player, 15, who fell to his death from the seventh-floor bathroom window of a Spanish apartment block while he was on a school exchange trip.
Max McMullen, a Year 11 pupil at Beechen Cliff School in Bath, died in the city of Cordoba.
The teenager played for Walcot Rugby Club and is understood to have fallen from a window at the home of the host family with whom he was staying.
Local authorities say they are treating the incident as a tragic accident and say police are not investigating it as a crime at this stage.
The youngster fell to his death from the bathroom window at the block around 11.25pm on Saturday.
Local news agencies reported that the boy had been trying to fix a broken blind when he died.
A source said it appeared the blind had got stuck as he tried to lower it after getting out of bed because a light coming through his window was stopping him from sleeping.
A local paper said he had gone to bed shortly before the tragedy after going out for dinner with his host family.

Video footage taken after the tragedy showed the police and ambulance response.
Local police placed a security cordon around the apartment block where the boy fell to his death shortly after the incident happened.
