Pierce Brosnan looked dapper in a suit as he made his way to the Good Morning America set in New York on Tuesday. 

The James Bond star, 69, looked suave in a maroon jacket and trousers ahead of his TV appearance. 

During his time on air, Pierce said he’d be keen to shoot a third Mamma Mia instalment, after the huge success of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again in 2018.

Pierce teamed the look with brown leather dress shoes, sunglasses and a watch, looking effortlessly stylish as he stepped out.

Pierce was asked if he’d be keen, after co-star Colin Firth said he’d be up for the new instalment.

‘I’m in to, all the way, sure, I mean, it should be a trifecta shouldn’t it?’ Pierce said. 

‘It’s criminal how much fun you have on that movie, I think everybody would be in,’ he added.

When asked if there were ‘actual plans’ for the movie, he added: ‘Yes, I’m sure there are some plans.’ 

In 2018, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was a huge success, grossing $402 million worldwide.

Likewise, the first film, 2008’s Mamma Mia, grossed $611 million worldwide.

According to IMDB, the film series centres on ‘the story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA’.

It co-stars the likes of Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep. 

Pierce plays Sam in the hit films, a former love interest of Meryl’s character Donna. 

He previously told Sky News about his singing in the films, saying he ‘cringes’ a little when he hears his voice in the films.

‘Singing is not necessarily my forte – I enjoy singing, I’m not quite sure other people enjoy my singing, but they have good entertainment value out of my singing,’ he said.
