Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has not been included in Borussia Dortmund’s squad for their trip to face Stuttgart due to disciplinary reasons.
Dortmund revealed the news on Twitter in response to a question from a supporter, who had asked why Aubameyang was not in a video the club released of players at the airport ahead of the flight to Stuttgart.
The Bundesliga side replied saying: ‘Aubameyang has been removed from the squad for tomorrow’s match for disciplinary reasons’.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang enjoyed a night out in Barcelona over the international break
German newspaper Bild reported that Aubameyang had used his two days off during the international break to take a brief trip to Barcelona.
Aubameyang was visiting former team-mate Ousmane Dembele and went to Barcelona nightclub Shoko with his brother Willy during the trip.
The striker posted a photo of himself on Instagram alongside Dembele, who he alongside last season at Dortmund.
