Piers Morgan warns thieves who stole his son’s work

Piers Morgan has pledged vengeance on two thieves who smashed up his son’s car and stole his bag from an M&S service station.

According to Mr Morgan, thieves on a motorbike targeted his son at the garage in Hammersmith, London, before fleeing the scene on Wednesday night.

The 52-year-old journalist took to Twitter offering a ‘handsome’ reward for anyone who found his son Stanley’s bag, which contains two years of coursework.

Mr Morgan tweeted after the incident on Wednesday night: ‘To the 2 scumbags on a motorbike who just steamed my middle son’s car at a West London M&S garage, smashed it up & stole his bag containing 2yrs of study work… I will find you. Consider it a promise not a threat. #cctv’

He later added: ‘In the meantime if anyone finds a black Eastpak rucksack discarded near the M&S garage on Talgarth Road, I will reward you handsomely.

‘No value to a thief, enormous value to my son.’

His 20-year-old son Stanley, an aspiring actor, uploaded a video to Instagram showing his smashed-up car covered in glass.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Mr Morgan’s tweets soon spawned a host of memes on social media.

His followers likened his tweets to Liam Neeson’s famous phone call in Taken, in which he promises to find and kill the men who kidnapped his daughter.

Earlier in the day, the Good Morning Britain presenter hit out at President Donald Trump for ‘publicly endorsed disgusting, far-right Islamophobia and racism’.

This came after the president retweeted three posts by Jayda Fransen, deputy leader of Britain First.

Each of the tweets contains deeply inflammatory material, specifically designed to whip up hatred towards Muslims, Mr Morgan said.
