Pink accuses Donald Trump of doing a ‘terrible job’

She famously penned an open letter to George W. Bush in her hit song ‘Dear Mr President’.

And now, Pink has focused her attention upon President Donald Trump, accusing him and the US Republican party of ‘failing’ the people of America.

‘It’s a different world now, since I wrote Dear Mr President. I didn’t think a president could actually make that president look good,’ she told Australian entertainment reporter Richard Wilkinson on the Today show this Friday.

Earlier in the week, Pink received a slew of online backlash when she Tweeted that ‘there is still hope’ for President Trump as he completes his term as president.

‘I was reading all the fascinating things that our President is doing, all the things he has time to do, and I just decided to go on a Twitter rant,’ she explained during the Today interview.

‘But then I decided to try and be hopeful and at least a little optimistic and I said ‘there’s still hope for you. I think you can turn it around!”

‘And then that was the one that p*ssed everyone off the most. So that was the one where apparently I voted for him, I’m a racist,’ she scoffed.

‘Maybe inspiring him and maybe he, even he down deep in there, maybe could still be a good person.’

‘He still has a chance to be a good president. And that’s what I got vilified for ― was the hope.’
