Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters will bring Us + Them tour to UK

And Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters has driven British music fans wild as he announced he will bring his acclaimed Us + Them solo tour to arenas across the UK next year.

The Wish You Were Here hitmaker, 74, will play arenas in Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham, and is the first headliner announced for the Barclaycard presents British Summertime Hyde Park in London.

The new tour dates marks the musician’s first return to Europe since 2013’s The Wall Live world tour which was seen by more than 4 million fans at 219 shows and is the highest-grossing tour of all-time by a solo artist.

Us + Them, named after a Pink Floyd song from their 1973 album The Dark Side of The Moon, has won rave reviews with special praise for its ‘spectacular’ setlist, along with its ‘eye-popping’ visuals and technology, 

The show features songs from albums The Dark Side of The Moon, The Wall, Animals, and Wish You Were Here plus songs from his new album Is This the Life We Really Want?

The UK tour will start at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on June 29th, before moving to Liverpool’s Echo Arena on July 2, then onto Manchester Arena on July 3, with the BST performance at July 6 and finishing at Birmingham Arena on July 7.

Tickets for the UK show go on sale on Friday October 6 at 9am. 

Last month, Roger announced his ‘Us + Them’ tour would be heading to Europe next year with five shows in Germany and one in Austria, among others. 

Pink Floyd was founded in 1965 by then students Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Roger and Richard Wright.
