Pippa Matthews takes her two dogs for a walk in London

She has spent her summer flitting from one society wedding to the next, including her own, so it is no wonder Pippa Matthews is adopting a more laid back lifestyle of late.

The newlywed, who married James Matthews in May, stepped out for a relaxing stroll with her two canine companions in West London on Wednesday.

The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, 33, looked laid back as she walked her two pooches around her local neighbourhood.

So fetching! Pippa Matthews looked chic as she took her two dogs out for a walk in West London on Wednesday

Her black cocker spaniel, Rafa, was on one leash while her husband James Matthews’s black Labrador was on the other.

And while she may have been dog-walking Pippa was sure not to let standards slip looking perfectly polished as she stepped out this afternoon.

Pippa opted for a monochrome ensemble in the form of an elegant Kate Spade blouse in black and a pair of casual cream chinos.

Anticipating a lengthy walk with her hounds Mrs Matthews slipped into a pair of Adidas trainers for comfort purposes.

Sure to keep her hands free in the case of unruly dogs Pippa was spotted wearing a plum cognac coloured over the shoulder bag from Pop & Suki priced at £157.

Known for her cool aesthetic Pippa completed her look with a pair of dark shades, sweeping her glossy locks back into a casual top knot.

Pippa has been enjoying a more lowkey existence at her home in the capital following a somewhat whirlwind of a summer.

After marrying banker James Matthews in a lavish countryside ceremony attended by Prince Harry, Roger Federer, and – naturally – the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, she jetted to French Polynesia to enjoy a luxury honeymoon.

This was followed by a stint in Sweden to attend a society wedding in Stockholm in a floor-length Erdem – not to mention three headline-grabbing appearances at Wimbledon in June.

Pippa has since been keeping a relatively low profile as she settles into married life back home with husband James Matthews.
