This fearless fox paid no mind to the huge Boeing 747 taking off as it darted across a runway before being chased by security.
The brave animal made its way to within feet of the plane at Manchester Airport and waited for it to depart before casually strutting around on the tarmac.
The pilot caught a glimpse of the fox in the corner of his eye as the aircraft, which was in full throttle, took off.
Authorities were forced to briefly stop operations and ground all planes as they chased after the animal.
The filmer said: ‘We were filming aircraft as per normal taking off from Runway 23L.
‘Out of the corner of my eye I noticed an animal on the runway, later to discover it was a fox.

‘This is something we have never seen before as with the perimeter fencing it’s hard, even for animals, to get onto the runway.
‘An animal on the runway can cause serious harm to the aircraft if struck whilst taking off.
‘Operations were momentarily stopped and airfield ops with the situation quickly with normal operations back under way shortly.’
