A plus-size TikTok influencer had her content stolen by another user and turned into an account with captions designed to promote negative feedback about her body type from followers.
One of those videos went super viral, showing the real influencer, BoBerryVIP, navigating her way through the aisle of an Airbus plane. However, the video was posted this week by the fake account going by the name Big Curvy Olivia.
In the fake video, Olivia comments that it’s discriminatory that she has to struggle through the seats on the plane while calling for wider aisles, prompting countless comments mocking her body and apparent entitlement. That fake video generated headlines from various media outlets.
‘Maybe switch to UPS Ground or Freight’ one person wrote. ‘Google Airbus Beluga,’ another chimed in. While another said: ‘That’s the kind of plane you need.’
In the real video, which was posted in March, BoBerryVIP merely offers tips on how to travel by air if you’re plus size.
The poser shared this video of Mary in which she discussed how she travels as a plus-size person and used it to stir up controversy by calling airline aisle widths ‘discriminatory’
In reality, the video had been posted by Mary while discussing how she travels while being plus-size and never calls out airlines for the aisle width in regard to her weight
Numerous videos showing BoBerry traveling on her social media pages have been viewed by DailyMail.com. None show her complaining about the practicalities of flying commercially

In the fake video of Mary on an airplane – which has since amassed 1.4 million views – more than 12,000 comments have been left belittling the woman.
‘Maybe the cargo hold would be better,’ one user wrote.
‘She’s right, I can’t even take my pet elephant as an emotional support animal,’ another responded.
‘She had to know what the comments would look like when posting this,’ one TikTok user wrote.
The real video of Mary walking down the aisle, however, came from her own TikTok account where she shared tips on how to travel while plus-size.
Never in the video does Mary advocate for wider aisles due to her weight, but rather, she discusses how she purposely plans travel on planes that can accommodate her.
The woman said for bathroom purposes, she books specifically on flights that have wheelchair-accessible lavatories and urged others to check their own flights ahead of time.
In her comments, she was applauded for sharing her tips and helping others.
‘Wow, I never thought about wheelchair accessibility on a domestic/small flight,’ one TikTok user wrote in her comments.
‘As a wheelchair user who works at an advocacy organization, improving airplane accessibility for all people is one of my top priorities,’ responded another user.
‘Why have I never thought of this? So many people are effected by this inaccessibility,’ one wrote.
This is the real Mary. She goes by the username ‘BoBerryVIP’ on Instagram and TikTok

The fake account has been posting Mary’s content since April and has shared more than two dozen videos of her taken from her social media and ‘exclusive content’ channels.
One video shared shows close up photos of Mary in lingerie with the caption: ‘I may be fat but I’m still more beautiful than all skinny models out there.’
That TikTok, which received nearly 75,000 views, has garnered dozens of comments aimed at hating on the woman and her weight.
‘Like putting lipstick on a pig,’ one user responded.
Another video shows Mary working out on an elliptical with a caption stating, ‘My mom offered me 500 dollars if I could run on this thing for 5 minutes straight.’
That video received over a million views and hundreds of comments.
‘The strength and durability of that machine is unmatched.’
‘Should she be impressed of you or the machine not giving in.’
Other videos show the woman in swimsuits and lingerie which have garnered thousands of hate comments.

This isn’t the first time an account has taken Mary’s photos and videos to make fun of her, however.
In 2022, one video of her getting into a small boat while traveling was posted without her consent on TikTok and received more than two million views.
She went on to stitch the video and received 1.8 million likes for calling out the person who posted it while also discussing her trip to Jamaica.
