Despite the mood in the camp being relaxed, they will face a difficult task against Inter as they look to make the perfect start in the Champions League without some mainstay players.
Tottenham boss Pochettino has left Toby Alderweireld and Kieran Trippier out of his squad.
When asked during his press conference on Monday why the duo were not going to feature against Inter, Pochettino — who seemed tetchy — said only that it was a ‘technical decision’.
