Podcaster sparks outrage after boasting he’d leave wife if she ‘let herself go’ post-childbirth

A podcaster has sparked outrage on the internet after he boasted that he’d leave his wife if she ‘let herself go’ post-childbirth.

Anthony Casasanta, from Wayne, New Jersey, is facing fierce backlash after he revealed that he would dump his future partner if she became out of shape after giving birth to their child.

Anthony, who is the co-host of the No Filter podcast alongside his brother Nick Casasanta and their friend Jason Girratano, explained that if his significant other ever stops becoming ‘sexually attractive’ to him, especially after having a baby, he’s ‘out’ of the relationship.

His eye-brow raising comments caused quite the stir online, and many people found them to be in poor taste.

‘If my wife lets herself go after I have kids with her, I’m gonna tell her once, “If you don’t get your s**t together…”‘ he said during a recent episode of the podcast, which was captured and reposted to TikTok, where it has since gone viral.

‘I still want to be sexually attracted to my wife, spouse, or girlfriend. If you can’t do that, I’m out.’

The No Filter podcast’s official TikTok account shared a clip of the moment – writing, ‘Is this too much?’ – but quickly turned off the comments after it was met with a very cold shoulder from viewers.

But that didn’t stop people from slamming the podcast host online. Many TikTok users reposted the moment to their own accounts and shared their thoughts on it, with some calling Anthony a ‘moron’ and others labeling him a walking ‘red flag.’

On person wrote, ‘Red flag. This is not a healthy thing to say, or have said to you. He needs therapy, you need to run, he ain’t for you.’

‘THE AUDACITY of the most mediocre looking, find ten more at a gas station, white men,’ someone else said, in response to No Filter’s video.

‘Can we go beat him up for his future wife?’ a third TikTok user asked.

‘It’s way too f**king early for this s**t,’ he said in a video post of his own, which has been watched more than one million times. ‘I don’t know why the algorithm sent you my way but here we go.

‘Wake the f**k up, man. Nobody else is living their life specifically for your wants and needs.

‘Like, do the s**t that makes you happy, but don’t impose your unrealistic expectations and regulations on someone else’s life.

‘That’s called manipulation. That’s called control. And forgive the living f**k out of me, but this just screams, “I don’t have an emotionally intimate bone in my body.”‘

In response to the online fury, the podcast host told DailyMail.com that his comments were ‘taken out of context.’

‘Yes we expected the comments to be negative but we really feel as the video taken out of context,’ he said.

‘We were talking years down the line after childbirth. We just don’t want our wives to be obese.

‘We feel as if society promotes obesity which is a very unhealthy and uncomfortable way of living.

‘We promote healthy lifestyles here at NoFilterPod. It’s also not only about weight gain after childbirth, it’s also about mental health as well as the physical health.

‘We feel like it’s very important to hold spouses both men and women to a high standard.’

Anthony said they are ‘not sorry’ and are ‘allowed to have their own opinion on things.’

‘As for the people who ridiculed us for making this claim, we are not sorry,’ he continued.

‘This is what we prefer and we’re allowed to have our opinion on things just like they’re allowed to have their views on certain things.

‘It’s none of our business what their opinion on things are, therefore they should respect our view.

‘We hear and see all the hate that we are getting, if you don’t like what we say simple don’t watch and listen to our podcast.’

As for why they decided to turn off the comments on their videos, Anthony said they did it after they began to receive death threats.

He also claimed that their ‘extended families, who have nothing to do with this matter at all’ were receiving nasty comments.

‘We felt it was very unfair that the people who didn’t make any of these claims were involved,’ Anthony told us.
