Those at Bored Panda collated the most shameful packaging decisions spotted by shoppers around the world.
They include bread taken away from its loaf to be individually wrapped, as well as putting a satsuma in a plastic pot for no apparent reason.
In another snap, a customer’s shopping was placed in three large cardboard boxes – despite all being ordered from the same warehouse.

In one, even an order of bubble wrap came alongside some added plastic for ‘protection’.
In a day and age where consumers are looking to make more eco-conscious decisions, companies are still clearly making decisions that are damaging for the environment.
