Police called to Rebecca Judd’s ‘Juddchella’ housewarming party

Neighbours call the police on Rebecca and Chris Judd’s wild ‘Juddchella’ housewarming party at their $7.3million mansion after a noise complaint

Rebecca and Chris Judd’s housewarming party was rudely interrupted by police after a noise complaint from a neighbour on Saturday afternoon.

Officers visited the $7.3million property in Brighton, Melbourne but took no further action and even told Rebecca she could ‘turn it up louder’ if she wanted to.

The incident took place during the couple’s Coachella-inspired ‘Juddchella’ party, which was attended by the likes of Nadia Bartel, Jessie Murphy and Lauren Phillips.

Are they serious? Rebecca and Chris Judd’s housewarming party was rudely interrupted by police after a noise complaint from a neighbour on Saturday afternoon

Rebecca, 36, explained on her KIIS FM radio show, The 3pm Pick-Up, on Monday that she had told all of her neighbours about the party well in advance.

‘I am a but of a goody two-shoes and always make sure that I do the right thing by everybody,’ she said.

‘So I texted some of my neighbours, emailed some of the others and did a letter drop as well to all of the aforementioned people – plus the side houses so we covered everyone – and said, “It is going to be very loud. We have a DJ and a sax player but it’s going to finish at 10pm.”‘

Despite her efforts, one neighbour clearly didn’t get the message and called police.

She added: ‘Anyway, [at] 4:40pm we have the police at the front door because a neighbour had complained because their daughter was trying to study and couldn’t. 4:40pm on a Saturday afternoon. Unbelievable.

‘The sun was shining, it was a beautiful day. Day, not night.’

However, the footy WAG breathed a sigh of relief when the officers told her she was not breaking any law.

She continued: ‘Anyway, the police come. They take a listen and say, “You can actually turn it up louder and you can actually go on later. You can go until 10:30.” Thank you!’

Rebecca’s co host, Megan Gale, then joked that the complaining neighbour was just upset they didn’t get an invitation to the party.
