Police find toddler wandering the streets of London

Police are seeking the parents of a small boy found wandering in Lambeth.

Police were called at 15:10hrs on Friday, 15 December by a concerned member of public who had come across a small child wandering alone in the Upper Tulse Hill area.

Officers attended and have taken the child into police protection.

The child is described as black and is believed to be aged between two and three years old. He was wearing a blue and black football top with star covered trousers.

Although the child is perfectly well and happy in the company of officers at Brixton police station, enquiries are urgently taking place to locate his parent or guardian.

Anyone with information concerning the identity or whereabouts of the child’s parents or guardian is asked to Lambeth police via 101.
