Shocking CCTV footage shows the moment the semi-trailer failed to stop after crashing into the two cars leaving a trail of destruction.

The security vision shows the truck swerving into the two parked cars on the quiet street in Sydney’s west.

Debris from the two cars and semi-trailer litters the road after the truck pushed one car onto the footpath.

While no one was injured in the hit and run, the owner of the two week old Mazda told Nine News she was confused as to why the driver wouldn’t stop.

‘There could have been someone in those cars as well … I’m completely gobsmacked that someone wouldn’t stop and investigate that,’ Inge Holst told the network.

Police believe the semi-trailer continued to travel west along Allen Street and would have sustained damage to the front of the truck.
