Manhunt on for trigger-happy gunman caught on video firing many shots from a pistol at random in a street in broad daylight

Police have launched a manhunt for a gunman who was caught on video opening fire on a street in Queens. 

The NYPD released the distressing video of a man holding a pistol and firing several rounds down the street on Friday around 4.15pm.

No injuries were reported, according to police, and there is no evidence that the man was aiming at anyone when he pulled the trigger.

One of the bullets hit a silver Nissan Sentra parked on Cornelia St near Wyckoff Avenue in Ridgewood. 

The gunman has been described as between 16 and 20 years old, Hispanic and with a small build, tattoos on his right arm and a goatee. 

He was wearing camouflage shorts, a black T-shirt, a green bucket hat and black and white sneakers.

He was accompanied by two other men also described as Hispanic and between 18 and 20 years old. 

The group was last seen running on Wyckoff Avenue toward Halsey St.  

Police have urged anyone with information regarding the men’s whereabouts to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
