Police say they caught a man who stole a car with a baby inside, when they spotted him driving another stolen car.
St. Petersburg police say 19-year-old Rashad Webb stole the vehicle with the child inside Monday.
Webb later told police he realized the baby was inside the car and dropped him off in a parking lot.
The eight-month-old was found by a WFLA news crew that happened to be at the location working an unrelated story.
Officers spotted Webb early on Thursday and tried to stop him realizing he was likely responsible for the Monday’s abduction.

The driver of the car realized there was a baby present and dropped him off three miles away
He drove off at a high rate of speed but surrendered after police punctured the tires.
He said when he realized the baby was in the car, he dropped him off in the parking lot where the child was found.
Police say Webb has been arrested 27 times in Pinellas County dating back to 2009, when he was 10 years old. Now he faces new charges of child abuse, burglary, fleeing and auto theft.
The child was taken in an instant after his father ran back into his house to get his wallet while leaving the engine running and the boy inside.
Police said Webb must have discovered the child while driving and dropped him off in a baby carrier about half an hour later.
