Disturbing moment police officer repeatedly punches driver through his window after three-car crash

Disturbing footage shows a police officer repeatedly punch an ‘aggressive’ driver in the face after the motorist smashed into a road barrier.
The shocking incident occurred around 1.45pm on Wednesday along Gympie Rd, Strathpine in Brisbane’s north.
Emergency services responded to the crash which resulted in two other cars being impacted.
Video posted to social media shows a police officer arriving and conversing with the driver for a short period of time before punching him multiple times through an open window.
The motorist appears in the footage to be resisting the officer while hanging out of the window.

Another video filmed shortly after shows the cop tasering the man.
A spokesperson for Queensland Police told Daily Mail Australia they are investigating the incident and a review is underway.
They also stated the driver became ‘aggressive’ with the officer.
‘On arrival, officers will allege they were confronted by an aggressive driver of one of the vehicles. Police were forced to use a taser and physical force to take him into custody,’ a Queensland police spokesperson said.
‘The man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for assessment.’
Witnesses say the driver was holding what appeared to be a wine bottle prior to the altercation, according to a 9News report.
