He just couldn’t wait! Baby Dominic was due to be born on New Year’s Eve, but his mom went into labor on Christmas Eve

Pachner told the station that late on Christmas Eve, his pregnant girlfriend began experiencing contractions at their home in Laconia, so the two jumped in their car and headed south toward Concord Hospital 30 miles away.

The couple were just 10 miles shy of their destination when the mom-to-be announced that the baby was coming.

Pachner pulled over on the side of I-93 and called 911.

A short time later, Boscawen police officer Ryan Nolan arrived on the scene.

‘It was the craziest call I’ve ever been on,’ Nolan said, adding that he had never delivered a baby before but had to act because the mother’s contraction were just 30 seconds apart.

Soon, Nolan was joined by state police Sgt. Vincent Grieco and Trooper Ryan St. Cyr, and together the three of them helped welcome baby Dominic into the world.

‘We were like, this story sounds familiar. Somebody’s born on Christmas day. Three guys waiting to meet him. Seems fitting,’ Nolan quipped.

According to Whitney’s Facebook page, she also has two older sons.
