New Jersey authorities have released a sketch of the man they would like to speak with in relation to the September disappearance of Dulce Maria Alvarez.

The Forensic Artist Unit of the New Jersey State Police released an image of a man on Friday, nearly a month after the five-year-old girl was reported missing on September 16.

The man is believed to be Hispanic, standing at roughly 5’7′ and having a slim build. He is said to be between 30 and 35-years-old.

He is said to have been wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a white baseball style hat.

Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said in a statement on Tuesday that investigators are not calling the man a suspect or a person of interest in the case.

‘He is simply a possible witness we want to speak with at this time,’ she said in a release shared by the Bridgeton Police Department on Tuesday.

The image comes days after the New Jersey State Police Unions announced that it was giving an additional $10,000 reward for information pertaining to Dulce's whereabouts. The reward is now currently at $52,000 as a result

The sketch was made after a witness came forward and provided details for the description. This is not the minor who gave a description to police, giving the initial description which led to the Amber Alert for Dulce.

‘We are asking this person (or anyone who may recognize him) to come forward, as investigators wish to speak with him as it is believed that he may have information that is helpful in determining the circumstances that led to Dulce’s disappearance,’ Webb-McRae said, according to NJ.com.

Dulce was last seen wearing checkered pants, a yellow shirt and white sandals. Her long dark hair was tied in a ponytail

The release shared to Facebook also added: ‘The public is reminded that authorities will not question any witness about their immigration status.’

The image comes days after the New Jersey State Police Unions announced that it was giving an additional $10,000 reward for information pertaining to Dulce’s whereabouts.

The reward is now currently at $52,000 as a result.

Investigators are looking for a white or Hispanic man who was spotted driving a red van in the area around the time of Dulce’s disappearance.

The suspected kidnapper, described as a man between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet and 8 inches in height, with a thin build and no facial hair, allegedly led the child into a red van with a sliding door on the passenger side and tinted windows, and drove off, leaving her three-year-old brother behind on the playground.

Following Dulce’s disappearance, officers accompanied by K-9 units combed the park on foot, while a New Jersey State Police helicopter flew overhead and several boats went up and down a nearby canal.
