Police step up search efforts for two ‘extremely vulnerable’ 14-year-olds

Two ‘extremely vulnerable’ 14-year-olds were today at the centre of a police search after disappearing for two days.

Emily Carter-Muall and Morgan Essex were last seen on Saturday morning and have not been heard from since. 

Both their families are said to be getting increasingly concerned over their safety.

The pair are both from Guildford, Surrey, and police have been making inquiries with neighbours and witnesses.

A spokesman for Surrey Police said: ‘Morgan is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, of a slim build with blond hair and was wearing black three quarter length shorts, a black and bright pink Arsenal top and a black Adidas coat.

‘He has a black push bike with stickers in the shape of red lips on both sides of the frame and was carrying a black Marine Cadet rucksack which contained clothing and food.

‘Emily is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, of a medium build, with brown and red hair tied up in a messy bun. 

‘She was wearing a red tee-shirt with a diamante design on the shoulders, a black body warmer with fur around the collar and has a zebra print overnight bag with her.

‘We are appealing for help in finding two missing 14-year-olds from Guildford who have not been seen since Saturday.

‘Emily Carter-Muall, who was last seen around 8.30am, and Morgan Essex, who was last seen around 9am, are believed to be together and both are described as extremely vulnerable.

‘A number of searches and inquiries have been carried out and police and their families are becoming increasingly concerned for their safety.
