A sports car driver plowed into a crowd of spectators at a Boise, Idaho, car show, injuring at least eleven, authorities say.
Police say the driver of the gray Porsche accelerated rapidly while leaving the Cars and Coffee event around 11am but lost control and ran into the nearby crowd.
Ambulances took at least six people to hospitals and at least two others were taken by private vehicles. Police didn’t provide any names.

The Idaho Statesman reported that none of the individuals were in critical condition.
Images following the crash show a Porsche convertible with damage on the left front bumper and a smashed windshield stopped on a sidewalk.
Police say the driver, who was not injured, is cooperating in their investigation.
Some witnesses had previously said that the driver was ejected from the Porsche in the collision.
According to its Facebook profile, Cars and Coffee ‘is about getting automotive enthusiasts to gather on a frequent basis to share their passions’.
The profile adds: ‘We do not allow foolish antics in or around the event.’
The event has occurred each month since 2013, according to the Facebook profile.
