Post Malone is denied entry into swanky Perth bar because of his face and neck tattoos

He may be one of the world’s hottest singers, but Post Malone failed to receive a VIP experience while out partying in Perth, Australia, on Saturday night. 

The American singer, 27, and his entourage were apparently denied entry into the QT Hotel’s ritzy rooftop bar on Murray Street due to his sprawling tattoo collection. 

According to The West Australian, Malone breached the venue’s strict dress code, which prohibits ‘face, neck, and offensive tattoos’.

Expressing his disbelief, Malone told The West Australian: ‘They turned me away for my tattoos… I’ve never really experienced anything like that.’ 

Malone is synonymous with heavy tattoos, sporting the words ‘Always Tired’ under his eyes, barbed wire across his hairline, two ace-of-spade cards on the corner of his forehead and a thin sword on his cheek. 

Ironically, Malone’s above-the-brow tattoo depicts the words ‘Stay Away’.

After being rejected from the QT Hotel bar, Malone travelled to the nearby 18 Knots rooftop bar, where he was granted special entry on the discretion of security. 

While at this venue, Malone reportedly spent time mingling with fans and even buying them drinks, before relaxing with his posse.

It comes after Malone raised eyebrows during his recent Sydney show as he began twitching and awkwardly fidgeting during a rendition of his hit song, I Fall Apart. 

Viral footage from the performance shows Malone jolting his arms bizarrely, rubbing his skin and playing with his T-shirt while belting out the lyrics. 

Another clip shows the star bending forward and balancing the microphone on his lips.

It comes after Malone raised eyebrows during his recent Sydney show as he began twitching and awkwardly fidgeting during a rendition of his hit song, I Fall Apart. (Pictured on-stage performing the song in Sydney) 

Some fans have expressed their concern online, with one tweeting: ‘I really hope he’s staying clean. Some movements worry me’, while another suggested: ‘Maybe it’s like a nervous tick?’ 

Another wrote: ‘Looks like he’s having anxiety. I do the same thing with my shirts when I’m freaking out I hope he’s okay.’ 

However, others rushed to defend Malone by pointing out that his bizarre movements are nothing new, and certainly no cause for alarm.  

‘He’s always been an animated performer like this. Stop,’ one tweeted, as someone else added: ‘That’s just how he performs that specific song.’ 

‘If they were ‘fans’ they’d know this is just his live set,’ another agreed.
