Prankster jumps two storeys into Bondi Icebergs pool

  • Prankster Luke Erwin jumped off Bondi Icebergs balcony into the famous pool
  • He plummeted two stories metres from other swimmers after climbing railing
  • Was doing the ‘silly salmon’ by tucking arms to sides a wriggling like a fish

The last thing families swimming in Bondi Iceberg’s pool expected was a man plummeting two stories into the water beside them.

That’s exactly what internet prankster Luke Erwin did last week after being dared to ‘do the silly salmon’ off a balcony overlooking Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

He and partner in crime Jackson O’Doherty filmed each other jumping off various objects into water – or in one case on to a pallet of bottles.

Showing very little regard for those around them, one of the duo would, seemingly at random, dare the other to jump off whatever they were standing on.

They would also have to tuck their arms into their sides and wiggle side to side, like a salmon jumping upstream.

Erwin was hesitant given the distance from the balcony to the pool below, which was also only two metres deep, but eventually climbed over the balcony.

After discarding his phone, he jumped from the balcony still wearing his shoes, t-shirt, and shorts and landing only a few metres from other swimmers

Families watching on from elsewhere in the popular venue appeared shocked to see Erwin suddenly plummet into the pool.

He emerged from the pool safely and later posted the compilation video to Facebook alongside other questionable pranks.
