- Account launched amid controversy surrounding Donald Trump and Britain First
- US President retweeted videos by Britain First’s deputy leader Jayda Fransen
- Anti-Islamic footage purported to show a Muslim attacking a man on crutches
Pranksters have launched a spoof Twitter account mocking the ‘fake news’ Britain First videos retweeted by Donald Trump.
Clips of a man trying to kick a pigeon and another punching a snowman, with the caption ‘Muslim attacks Christmas’, have been posted by the bogus ‘British First’ profile.
The account popped up as a major diplomatic spat wages between the US President and Theresa May.
Westminster and Washington are fighting a war of words after Mr Trump retweeted three posts by Britain First deputy leader, Jayda Fransen.
The hateful videos included a clip from the Netherlands purporting to show a Muslim migrant attacking a boy on crutches.
However, Dutch authorities yesterday disputed the claim that it was a ‘migrant’ attacking the youngster.

Fransen’s anti-Muslim posts were retweeted by Mr Trump although it has since emerged that the attacker in this video is neither a Muslim nor a migrant
Britain First have been widely accused of racism and of stoking up racial hatred
A statement corrected Mr Trump’s tweet, saying neither boy was a migrant nor a refugee, while Dutch media said the attacker was not a Muslim either.
The prank Britain First account pokes fun at the group and the US President for sharing the clips without checking their credibility.
