Claire Danes kept it casual and comfy as she stepped out in New York City to run errands on Wednesday.

The My So-Called Life star, 44, covered up her growing baby bump with a black and blue long-sleeve top and a puffer vest.

She threw on navy blue leggings and a pair of lace-up sneakers with what appeared to be maternity compression socks.

Danes was noticeably makeup-free and her cropped blonde hair was pushed back off her face with a headband.

After getting in a relaxing stroll, the actress made a quick pit stop at a nearby grocery store for some essentials.

For her walk home, she plugged a pair of AirPods in her ears and kept her iPhone close to her via a convenient crossbody strap.

Danes is currently expecting her third child with husband Hugh Dancy, 47.

The longtime couple already share sons Cyrus, 10, and Rowan, four.

Danes confirmed her pregnancy in January while attending the 80th Golden Globe Awards after PEOPLE published a report.

She admitted on the red carpet that the pregnancy ‘was not intentional’ but that she and Dancy are ‘thrilled’ by the news.

But Danes revealed during an appearance on The Tonight Show that her sons weren’t initially thrilled about the idea of having a new sibling.

She told host Jimmy Fallon that her youngest son Rowan had suggested they ‘give it to a family that doesn’t have a baby because we’re done.’

But the Romeo and Juliet star was able to sway Rowan by explaining his future role as a big brother.

‘He was less than thrilled but then we talked about how when the baby comes out, it’s going to be pretty dumb [and] doesn’t know a lot, [and will] need assistance and some educating.’

Danes continued: ‘That was interesting to him. He liked the idea of being a condescending presence. So, now he’s a little more optimistic.’

As for eldest son Cyrus, he was initially ‘sort of resigned to it’ but eventually came around.

Danes and Dancy celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary this past September.

The pair first met on the set of Lajos Koltai’s film Evening back in 2006.

They starred as love interests in the drama, which was released the following year.

Though she and Dancy had chemistry, Danes had committed to staying single after having back-to-back relationships for most of her life.

But the Homeland star eventually changed her mind after coming to terms with her feelings for Dancy, which were reciprocated.
